A British/Australian dual national and a graduate of Central St.Martins College of Art & Design, I’m an award-winning Creative Director with 15+ years experience spanning both advertising and digital agencies.

This hybrid background enables me to operate at the intersection of brand strategy, creativity and technology. I’m able to deploy the right blend of strategic, campaign and systems thinking to solve brand and business problems in culturally impactful and commercially effective ways.

I believe that brand-building in the post-digital world is about impactful, insight-driven brand communications and delightful, user-centric digital experiences. I’m particularly excited by what’s possible when agencies and brands act like tech startups, and the storytelling potential of placing innovation and data at the centre of brand campaigns.

Comfortable leading and working in both traditional creative and cross-functional teams, I’ve enjoyed particular success in ‘lynchpin’ roles that have enabled me to drive effective collaboration between digital and non-digital specialists. For me, great work comes from bridging the cultural divides that different backgrounds and specialisms can sometimes throw up within a team, and building a culture of curiosity, collaboration and craft.

I’m currently working as a Creative Director at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, overseeing creative on integrated, PR and social briefs for clients including Adidas, Huawei and HSBC. Preceding years have seen me working as a freelance Creative Director at agencies including SapientNitro, R/GA and Razorfish. These roles have incorporated the day-to-day running of large accounts, shaping strategy and creative on integrated pitches and brand campaigns, and leading teams in the development of mobile apps and product/service innovation projects. Highlights include a global digital agency of record pitch win for Axe/Lynx, a £30m integrated pitch win for Nikon Europe and SpeakEmoji – a mobile app that achieved global reach of 350 million, ranked in the top 20 US social networking apps and won numerous awards.

During my career, I’ve created brand communications across TV, press, poster, radio, online video, social engagement, digital experiential, mobile apps, product and service innovation, digital retail, and gaming. New business pitch wins include 3 Mobile, Axe/Lynx, Bacardi, Budweiser, Carlsberg, Lloyds TSB, Nestlé, Nikon Europe, Sony Playstation, Square, Toyota, UNFPA, Vauxhall Home Nations Football and Virgin. My work’s been awarded and shortlisted at award shows including D&AD, Cannes Lions, The One Show, The Webbys, The Lovies, BIMA and more. I’ve helped three agencies to win 'Agency of the Year' titles and one 'Runner-up'.

Outside of work, you’ll find me twiddling the knobs on a DJ mixer, working on my tennis and golf game, or taking in a cricket or football match.
